Lonesome Road is the 4th and terminal add-on for Fallout: New Vegas, developed past Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. Originally scheduled for release in July 2011,[1] Lonesome Road was delayed and subsequently announced for an August release.[ii] Information technology was later announced that the addition had been delayed a 2d time.[3] It was finally released simultaneously on all platforms on September 20, 2011. This concludes the story arc showtime with Dead Coin chronologically, finally answering the foreboding clues given in add-ons past.[4]
Synopsis
Lonesome Road brings the Courier's story full circumvolve when they are contacted by the original "Courier Half dozen," a human by the proper name of Ulysses, a former frumentarius of Caesar who refused to deliver the platinum bit at the showtime of the main storyline in Fallout: New Vegas. In his manual, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but but if the Courier takes one last job; a job that leads them into the groovy depths of the Separate, a landscape torn apart by frequent earthquakes and violent storms. This is the fabled location of the boxing between the Courier and Ulysses.[5] The road to the Divide is a long and treacherous 1, and of the few brave enough to walk it, none have ever returned. The kickoff quest in this expansion begins with The Reunion.

Notes
- Suggested level for all platforms is 25+.
- Like all major Fallout: New Vegas add-ons, Lonesome Road raises the level cap by 5.[6]
- The player character's equipment is not stripped at the starting time of the add together-on, and the gameplay has a linear structure. See exception beneath.[7]
- The histrion character can leave the Split up at any time during the improver without having completed it and can return afterward if needed, except when they are nigh to face Ulysses. (The game volition ask to proceed or not earlier they enter)
- The player character may also return to the Divide upon completion of the improver.
- Lonesome Road does not extend gameplay past the game's original catastrophe.[8]
- Lonesome Road can affect part of the Mojave Wasteland afterwards completing the main quest.[9]
- Companions are not allowed into the addition, equally with all the other add-ons in Fallout: New Vegas.
- As with each of the quest extending New Vegas add-ons, Lonesome Route features a unique snowfall globe. This is besides the last one in the set. It is cracked open and matches the setting of the carve up.
